Um, someone poke me! Am I awake?
I was over the moon when I found out that one of my favourite bloggers, Emma Arendoski of Emmaline Bride, had a book deal. But being asked to submit my work (and having so much of it featured!) took my excitement to a whole new level.
In The Handcrafted Wedding, Emma guides you through everything from picking a wedding theme to finishing off those final little details to create a special event. It’s not just about DIY projects (although there are a lot of those!) – it’s for any couple who wants to personalise their day and make it meaningful and unique.

White Magazine Issue 18

Wedding Lovely has done it again with a bumper new issue of their bi-annual lookbook of wedding vendors.
Thanks for including Akimbo again!
I was pretty thrilled last year when one of my fave design authors Charlotte Rivers (not just saying that – I did already own some of her books and follow her blog) asked me to submit some of my work for her upcoming book. But then I put it out of my mind because books take so long to reach the shelves and besides, not everything that’s submitted will make the final cut.
So imagine my excitement when I flipped open my freshly-delivered copy of her book I Love Stationery and found a whole page feature on Akimbo‘s Woodland collection!
Huge thanks to Charlotte and her publisher Jacqui Small. It means so much to me to be published in such a beautifully produced book.

Thanks to Nole of Oh So Beautiful Paper for deeming our wedding invitations fit to be in the company of the jaw-droppingly amazing stationery she features. Thank you!
Warm thanks to Kristen for featuring Akimbo on her wonderful blog Paper Crave. It has been such a rich source of inspiration to me while starting my business and I’m stoked to be put alongside the amazing stationers she features.
