I found Alicia through Harpers Bazaar wedding magazine. It was fate! I was at a loss as to where I was going to find a design which was going to match my winery wedding but without the traditional ‘wedding’ invite look and feel. I like to be different and Alicia’s invitations and ceremony fans jumped out of the page and before I knew it I was writing to her asking for her assistance.

Funnily enough Alicia was also from the Barossa Valley as was I and where the wedding venue was located so it was a match made in heaven. She totally understood what I was after and always made that extra special effort to understand what it was that I wanted – even when I didn’t even know what I wanted!

Alicia is a true professional – staying calm, keeping me calm – and accommodating my many, many changes as I went along. I like to change my mind and not once did she question me – just supported me along the way and simply gave me her professional point of view and made things happen quickly and professionally. We’ve had so many comments on how lovely our invitations were (especially the delightful individual bags they came in) and can’t wait to send out the thank you cards.

I can’t thank Alicia enough for making my wedding planning so seamless and I will be using Akimbo again for all my events in the future. Thanks again! xxx
