Make it yours
What you see isn’t what you get!
Just because you’ve selected one of our Off-the-rack invitations or wedding day accessories, that doesn’t mean you’ll be getting some cookie cutter paper goods that your guests have already seen before.
I know you want to personalise it til it’s perfect, so that’s exactly what you can do!
Here’s a run-down on the types of things you can customise about your wedding stationery. Some of them incur additional fees to reflect the more expensive materials or extra labour involved, while others are included in the cost. If you’re looking to personalise your wedding on a budget, look for the ‘included’ features.
Colours
You can choose any ink colour you like!
Cost: Free
Wording
Duh, of course this is included. You can use whatever wording suits your unique situation and taste. I love it when guests inject some humour and personality into their stationery wording too!
You can find some wording suggestions here.
Cost: Free
Fonts
If you don’t like the typefaces I have used (sob!) you may request an alternative and I will come up with some suggestions for you from the hundreds I have on file. If you would like to select them yourself please note I will not use a font that is ugly or not allowed for commercial use.
Cost: $30 per item
Paper
For each product I’ve selected a certain paper type that suits the style but that’s not to say that other papers won’t look just as good!
Order a paper selector so you can see and feel the options (they’re fully refundable when you go ahead and order).
Cost: Free if it’s the same quality paper (surcharge will apply for premium stocks)
Monograms
Monograms are a great way to personalise your stationery. And no, they don’t need to look old-fashioned!
Cost: $60 (artwork only), plus $28 for a rubber stamp (up to 10x10cm)
Maps
A map is a welcome inclusion for your guests, especially if you’re having a wedding outside the city, difficult to find venue or have many visiting guests.
Cost: $80 (artwork only)
Envelope printing
Save yourself a bunch of time and order your envelopes printed with your guests’ names and addresses.
Cost: $90 flat rate
Return addresses
If you want to write out your own address 100 times, go ahead! If not, ask for printed return addresses. Hint: Use only your first names on a return address stamp and you’ll be able to use it long after the wedding.
Cost: $65 flat rate for printed addresses; $30 for a stamp; mailing labels POA
Guest names
If you are having digitally printed invitations, you may include the guests’ names printed. It’s not possible for printing methods such as letterpress and screenprinting, however there are other ways around this such as belly bands and tags.
Cost: $1.50ea
Envelope liners
The good news is we source our envelopes from various brands to ensure the ideal fit for each job. The bad news is they have different size/shape flaps so it’s impossible for us to stock a standard envelope liner.
I do, however, have this nifty tutorial for you to make your own!
Cost: DIY supplies
Corner rounding
Some invitations would look great with fancy rounded corners.
Cost: $1.50ea
This is by no means an exhaustive list. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about customistation.
